As the autumn draws in and the days get cooler, come and enjoy a 90 minute Saturday morning Hot Yoga practice with Jozef Wiewel. A Hot Yoga class well taught, within a balanced room temperature and humidity level, can bring surprising energy to the surface and enhance the quality of your life. Jozef has adapted both the sequence and teaching of the original Bikram Hot Yoga sequence to create a safe, responsible practice that empowers each individual to practice in a way that is right for them.
This class focuses on maintaining a safe practice within the correct alignment of your own unique body shape and ability. Within the heated practice you will be invited to focus on the movements and alignment of your spine, coupled with an awareness of your breath.
In order to get the most from Hot Yoga don't dress too warmly, bring some water, a towel and have your last meal (lunch/dinner) 2-3 hours before the class starts. A good rule of thumb is to drink a glass of water just before the class starts and enjoy the ride.
During the class should you feel unwell, be it dizziness or even nauseous, then lay down flat (when dizzy first go into child's pose so your head will be lower than your heart) and you will recover very quickly. Once recovered you can rejoin the class. On the very rare occasion that it gets too much for you to continue you can always leave the class. But don't be in a hurry to leave, rest a little longer and absorb the class around you, even if you do not continue your own practice. Join us to start the weekend with some movement, sweating and no doubt smiling :)
Classes can be bought as drop-ins (£18) or as a block of 10 (£150). Current Satyam students can attend the first class half-price (just use Discount code HOT1 at checkout). Our New and Returning Client Offers (5 classes for £25) are valid for this class.
