Timetable Key
Slow pace / Low impact : Move through a series of gentle movements, improving relaxation, flexibility and recovery. Expect different options throughout the class to suit your practice & needs, encouraging you to listen to your body, clear your mind and reconnect to your breath.
Faster pace / Strength & Flexibility: Those classes may move at a quicker pace, with more challenging options given for certain postures/transitions. Building on the foundation of alignment & breathing, develop strength, balance, flexibility and alignment.
Deep Relaxation : Classes include moments of guided deep relaxation (for instance Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic Sleep), usually practiced lying down.
References to yoga philosophy / Chanting : The teacher might refer to Yoga Philosophy and/or lead some chanting. Taking part is optional, you can always just listen.
Suitable for Beginners : Whether you have never done yoga before or you would like a gentle practice, those classes provide detailed instructions and a slow direction.
Open Level : An open level class is a class that is suitable for all levels of experience, except for complete beginners. Modifications may be offered to accommodate different levels of ability.
Music played in class : Music is played during the whole class or part of the class.
Hands on assist : Optional hands on adjustments might be offered by the teacher. You will be given a consent card to display your choice during the class.
