How to book a Yoga class You first need to create an account with us through the website. Once your account is created, you will need to purchase a pass. You can see our different pricing options on the 'Pricing' page on the website. If you are new with us you will be able to benefit from our Satyam Taster Pass (£30 for 5 classes - valid for 1 month). Click on 'Go to Store' to make the purchase. Once you have purchased a pass, you can go to the 'Timetable' page and from there book the class you want.
You can also download our app "Satyam Yoga & Wellbeing" and use it to make any purchase & book the classes / courses etc.
Issues with online payment We are aware that sometimes online purchases seem to be rejected for no apparent reasons, so here is a list of the main reasons for failed transactions that we gathered so far: The most common reason for failed online transactions is due to the AVS check (Address Verification Check). To solve this issue, make sure that the billing address saved on your Satyam profile matches the address that is registered with the bank that issued your bank card. Card can also be marked as a "Suspected Fraud", or some transactions being declined by the client's issuing bank's risk management department, which can be fixed by contacting the bank and requesting them to allow transactions coming from Wellness Living". Another reason for failed payment can be due to the payer's authentication error. We also suggest contacting the card issuing bank for more information.
What is the difference between "Classes" and "Workshops, Courses & Events" Classes All the classes on the timetable are recurring classes that take place every week at the same time. They are bookable individually with your regular Class Pass. Workshops, Courses and Events They are bookable in the Workshop, Course & Events section on the website, and are not bookable with the Class Pass. You would need to make a separate purchase if you would like to attend one of those. You will be able to see the price for the whole duration of that specific Course or Event. A Course is running for a set number of weeks (usually between 4-8 weeks), and is bookable as a one time purchase. You cannot join a course that has already started. Workshops & Events are happening for 1 instance only, but can be recurrent (every month for instance, for the Moon Circles or Family Yoga). Tiered Pricing also applies for Workshop, Courses and Events.
Cancellation Policy: 'Early Cancellation': If a class is cancelled up to 4 hours before the start, then there is no charge and the class is returned to your account. 'Late Cancellation': If a class is cancelled less than 4 hours before the start, then the class is not credited back to your Satyam account. In some cases we may be able to make an exception - please contact us. Courses, Workshops and Events have a 1-week cancellation period. Any cancellations made after this time may not be refunded. In certain circumstances it is possible to transfer your payment towards a different course. In case a class is cancelled by us/the teacher, the class would be returned to your current pass. If a class that is part of a course is cancelled by us/the teacher, the amount corresponding to the individual class will be credited on your Satyam account and you will be able to use it towards any future purchase, with no limit of time.
Late Policy: Satyam asks that you arrive about 10 minutes before the start of your class. If you know that you are going to be late, please call us and inform us that you are on your way. Students arriving after the start of the class will only be permitted at Satyam's discretion. If you turn up late without informing us your place may have been given to a drop-in client or someone on the waiting list. Also note that on some occasions, the teacher themselves are letting the students in for the class, so the front door will be locked at the time the class starts.
